Wheatgrass energy bars

– 1 cup of raw almonds
– 1 cup of pitted dates ( you can use Medjool ones or dry ones, soaked and strained)
– 2 tsp of wheatgrass powder
– ¼ cup of hemp seeds
– handful of goji berries (saving few for decoration)

Mix the almonds, dates and wheatgrass powder together in a food processor until dough has formed, add hemp seeds and pulse few more times until mixed. Add goji berries and use your hands to shape a dough into 1 inch thick then cut into 8 pieces put remaining goji berries on top of each one. You can wrap it each one and keep it in the freezer.

Wheatgrass energy bars are decent option for afternoon snack that provide fast and sustained energy.
